We're covering all the bases, from fiction to non-fiction, fantasy to self-help, and everything in between. Whether you're into epic adventures or romances, practical advice, satires or learning from the lives of remarkable individuals, we've got you covered. These stories are special. Some are well known, but some are stories most people have never heard of. We recover the original text and package them in a fresh, though authentic to the story, new coat. This way, these stories will never disappear.
What makes Apollo Classics special, you ask?
Alongside the original brilliance of these literary treasures, we're adding our own touch with exclusive forewords and/or illustrations, along with a brand new cover. It's like getting a bonus commentary track from your favorite director – except it's us, sharing our thoughts and perspectives on these timeless tales.
Forewords and Introductions
Sure, neither of these are new concepts. We're not looking for new concepts, we're looking for classics. With these books, there will be a number of pages dedicated to a foreword or introduction to whichever book it is you're reading. With this you won't only get some new insights on the book itself, but on the background of the book, too.
New Look
What we're most excited to share are the new looks we've given the books. One thing that remained of the most importance to us is not uniformity or a modern look, but making sure the cover, illustrations and overall design of the books were true to the stories that were inside, and secondly nice to look at. We are creating books that are both valuable works of literature (or other genres, you get the gist) and bookshelf-worthy.
