Ten Easy Exercises

Ten easy exercises everyone can do no matter what level you're at.

Whether you just started or have some experience, these exercises are the ones I started with and still do to this day. You need no equipment, just your body, gravity and energy.


Everyone has to start somewhere. First starting working out might seem intimidating or like more work than you're willing to put in, but the key to getting healthy isn't perfect workouts every time, it's consistency. It doesn't matter if you do 3 hours or 3 minutes of exercise, what matters is how often you exercise. You will get better over time at doing the exercises, but if you don't start with a consistent base it's very hard to learn after years of inconsistency.


Schedule this routine in on a set time and day(s) in the week and keep showing up for the best results for both your mind and body.



Exercises

Beginner Experienced Advanced


First up is a good warming up exercise to get your blood flowing and ready to workout.


1. JUMPING JACKS

Cardio, whole body

1 set, 30 secs    2 sets, 30 secs     3 sets, 45 secs What does this mean?


2. BICYCLE CRUNCHES

Abdominal muscles

1 set, 30 reps    2 sets, 30 reps     3 sets, 45 reps What does this mean?


3. TRICEP DIP - CHAIR

Tricep muscle

1 set, 30 reps    2 sets, 30 reps     3 sets, 30 reps  What does this mean?


4. SQUAT

Quadriceps, hamstrings, lower back

1 set, 30 reps    2 sets, 30 reps     4 sets, 20 reps  What does this mean?


5. STANDING CALF RAISES

Calfs

1 set, 30 reps    2 sets, 30 reps     4 sets, 20 reps  What does this mean?


6. PLANK

Abdominal muscles

1 set, 30 secs    2 sets, 30 secs     3 sets, 45 secs What does this mean?


7. CRUNCHES

Abdominal muscles

8. RUSSIAN TWISTS

Obliques

9. LUNGES
