Ingredients

  • 4 vegetarian meat patties (such as Beyond Meat or Impossible Burger)

  • 4 whole grain hamburger buns

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 slices of vegan cheese

  • 1 large tomato, sliced

  • 1 small red onion, sliced

  • Lettuce leaves

  • 4 tablespoons vegan mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

  • 2 tablespoons mustard

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Prep the Patties: Season the vegetarian meat patties with salt and pepper.

  2. Cook the Patties: Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until well-browned and cooked through.

  3. Prepare the Buns: Toast the hamburger buns lightly on the grill pan.

  4. Assemble the Burgers: Spread vegan mayonnaise on the bottom bun, add a lettuce leaf, followed by a slice of tomato and a slice of red onion. Place the cooked patty on top and add a slice of vegan cheese.

  5. Add Condiments: Add ketchup and mustard on top of the cheese, then cover with the top bun.
